Join us for our day trip to the Giants Causeway. Arrive at our shop on Great Victoria street in the morning to check in for your trip and be sure to grab your complimentary bottle of water from the shop for the journey. Once you have boarded the bus and begin to leave Belfast, you will be travelling inland straight to the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge where you will have the chance to cross the bridge over the 100 foot drop to the rocks below (fee not included & weather permitting).
After arriving back to the bus safe and sound after this terrifying ordeal, you will be on your way to the fascinating ruins of Dunluce Castle where you will learn about the history of this wonderful monument!
From here we take you to the Bushmills Distillery where you have the chance to grab a bite to eat and sample some of the different types of the famous Irish whiskey (not included in price) including the famous Black Bush.
Having had something to eat and plenty to drink, you will board the bus feeling refreshed and then we are off to the main event… The Giant’s Causeway! This truly stunning monument has been named as one of the great natural wonders of the world and we take you right to its door step and with the exact same formations appearing directly across the North Sea in Scotland, from this geological constancy comes a legend of ancient rivalries and Irish cunning between Finn MacCool and Benandonner of which you will learn more from your guide.
Once you have finished following in the footsteps of these great giants along the Causeway, you will board the bus back to Belfast travelling along this picturesque coast road with its magnificent scenery right along the coast. We will stop around halfway along the coast for a break at one of the fishing villages, Carnlough which will allow you to get some great pictures at the harbour. After this quick stop, we continue along the coast road to Carrickfergus Castle. One of the best preserved Norman castles in Ireland where your guide will tell of its fascinating history before making your way back to Belfast.
